Last Saturday, January 5th, had a large run of weighups- compared to last sale 2 weeks ago- cows steady to weak- bulls strong, hfretts steady to dollars lower.
Also had a fair run of bred cattle, a good crowd of buyers on hand with a fairly active market.
Good kill cows $47 to $53.50- extreme top of $56.50 Low yielding & big bellied wet cows $40 to $47-Shells & blemishes in the $20's and $30's Feeding cows, cowetts & hfretts $47 to $71- hfrs to $88 on limited test Bulls - better end $55 to $64.50- low end $47 to $55
